Currency... as in Current

Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que escribí, pero lo mismo ha pasado con la mayoría de los blogs amigos de DT. Debe ser que el semestre en la universidad ya llegó a quinta velocidad y nos arrastra consigo.

¿Qué ha pasado desde entonces?

Pues ha habido sus altibajos en el amor y la infatuación... algo que no me pasaba desde primaria... ¿Será que vuelvo a ser normal?

Hemos hecho cosas muy interesantes en la carrera. Como institucionalizar el #blackshirtfriday en twitter.

Me disfracé de Harry Potter después de años de que me dijeran que me parezco a él, para enfrentar mis traumas.... Creo que no los superé

He tenido 4 sesiones de fotos, 2 improvisadas y 2 planeadas.

En otros eventos, vi Skins una serie inglesa de MTV y ahora estoy agradecido de que mi tele sea viejita y llegué hasta el canal EWTN (bueno no tanto así, pero sí). Ese programa era sexo, drogas, prepotencia; sexo, drogas, prepotencia (en ese ordén) ... etc. Y para colmo en un comercial durante el programa, vi que va a salir un programa que se llama "16 & Pregnant" WTH!? Hace mucho que llegué a la conclusión de que ya no hay canales de Musica :C .

Esta canción ya tiene un ratito pero tomo nuevos aires para mi cuando compré el último CD de la banda y me pasaron un Mash-Up con 'Children' de Robert Miles

La verdad es que no me emociona mucho Transformers y la 2 no la he visto, pero por la canción creo que valdría la pena verla. Siento que esta canción rescató la verdadera escencia de LP, que había quedado algo borrosa en su último album.

Pues ultimamente he estado medio ocupado con tareas y con rescuperar sueño y de hecho debería estar durmiendo o haciendo tarea pero ando tristongo y quería subirme el ánimo con un nuevo post ^^.

Esta semana mi amiga Norma me invito a ver el partido a Bar·B Q. Estuvo muy padre y muy rico. No habia ido antes. Cuando llegué y vi tipo cadenero, yo dije "WTH?" Y luego entrando pague mi consumo y yo asi de: "Norma, espero que no me arrepienta" Pero estuvo muy bien comes mucho y rico y tomas de igual manera

Quería criticar la manera en que combinan dos idiomas, pero luego me di cuenta que I use Spanglish a diestra y siniestra, so I thought: 'well at least spell "perfumes" right in any language, please!'

Amy MacDonald - This is the Life

Muy buena canción recomendad por mi amigo Frank. Me gusta mucho como logró una canción pop muy agradable con un sentimiento folk (casi country) pero al mismo tiempo muy moderna, muy cantable, etc. No se... me gusta mucho. BTW Amy es escocesa, asi que finalmente demuestro mi gusto Britpop.

También desde que publiqué la última vez salió el nuevo Disco de Paramore, "Brand New Eyes" y su nuevo sencillo "Ignorance". No lo puse por varias razones:

• Aunque me encanta Paramore, trato de poner musica no tan conocida en el BTW
• La canción me encanta, el video not that much
• La canción vale mucho la pena asi que, esfuercense por encontrarla ^^

Antes de irme... Por favor, vean "El Estudiante". Es lo maximo y te va a hacer llorar, for real. Yo lo hize. Cine Mexicano de calidad que vale la pena

Bueno esta semana fue un poco difícil, la segunda I mean. (Si hoy es día de Spanglish)

Tengo que acostumbrarme al ritmo universitario
Y tengo que balancear los días en que llevo shorts y los días que llevo chanclas, si no pereceré de pulmonía por Aire Acondicionado

Primero, ¿por qué alguien iría al edificio 6 a pedir informes de cualquier cosa?
Segundo, ¿por qué hay una escalera como si indicara que los informes se dan dentro del techo?

This time we'll feature Alex Ubago (hard to bealive, huh)
Usually pretty much don't like his music but this new single has kind of a totally different vibe, kind of.
Plus he uses a very simple yet inteligent design resource, which is taking all saturation from the picture (making it all grayscale), and letting just one or few elements of the scene sport color, but it can only posses one, very defined and bright color

The song is quite ironic, 'cause the lyrics are sad, but the music is totally hip & hype, really upbeat, with an easy-going feeling about it, that just makes me break all my weak pride barriers and sing it with the utmost pleasure.

Firsty

Well, today I had my first day of college! It was really enjoyable. I didn't hate any part of it, but I can't speak in the same way on behalf of my friend Kurioso-Furioso.

He was helping me today burn some files on some DVD's on his laptop (the reason for asking him is that my PC's have no DVD burner) for an ex-coworker friend. We burnt a couple of them, but his battery died. So we went to his home to continue, but laptop wouldn't burn anymore, nor will any other nearby PC; so, sad ending.

I (turned on MTV and) found these awesome duo called 'La Roux' (pronounced -Lah Roo- with the nasal 'R' sound) It's totally 80's revival in all senses, and the girl seems to be fixated with a classic-looking-bust-lithography-pendant. (The girl's not hot. I'm sorry; plain truth. But she pulls out an intresting look anyway) Enjoy! I really did!

I need to post more often

Lately I've had the uncontrolable urge to start a webcomic. I started drawing today, and boy do I suck at it! I manage to stroke a nice "me" but it will take lot's of work to actually start publishing

As a catch up on me here's a list of relevant "Joe-Stuff" (that'll be me):

1) Getting a scholarship has been hell. I even had a micro-nervous break down, but I think it'll end up nicely
2) Pau's gone to MTY :( Kuri's my personal apostolate since
3) I've just seen "Slumdog Millionaire" & "21 Blackjack" for the rirst time
